Worked classroom example

History

Worked example

For Micro Presentation in History, use a shared prompt about migration and settlement. Ask learners to the speaker gives a short explanation in a clear order; the listener summarises the key idea and identifies one point needing clarification. The listener paraphrases the key idea and asks for one reason or example; switch roles and check that each learner can explain independently.

Use this example to make the language move visible. Select subject content appropriate to the class’s age and prior knowledge.
