Purpose
This report reviews student access to quiet study space during the recent trial.
Findings
Feedback suggests that the room is useful for independent work; nevertheless, access was uneven because capacity was limited. While some students valued the quiet, others were unclear about whether conversation was permitted. The trial therefore tested the location more successfully than the booking arrangements.
Recommendations
Retain two weekly sessions, publish one set of expectations and introduce a simple booking system. Review attendance and short student feedback after four weeks before deciding whether to extend provision.

Feedback focus
Give one response on task coverage, one on organisation and one on a language choice that the learner can use again. Avoid treating a memorised phrase as evidence of control.
Adapt it by level
More support
Rehearse the ideas orally, use a three-box planning frame and offer two optional sentence openings. Keep the model visible while the learner plans.
Greater independence
Remove the frame, change the audience or purpose and ask learners to justify their choices of structure and register.
Course fit
