Model a decision, then rehearse

Make one expert decision visible. Give learners a chance to rehearse before you ask for a public response.

  1. Demonstrate

    Think aloud about one choice: which evidence matters, which connector fits or why a claim needs a qualification.

  2. Rehearse

    Give pairs a new example and a clear purpose. One explains; the other checks the meaning against the task.

  3. Hand over

    Ask for a fresh individual response. Reduce the support only when the learner can still communicate the idea.
